A40 Autoroute Blanche / RN205 Route Blanche
- Winter rules
- Under France's 'Loi Montagne 2', all vehicles (including motorhomes) must carry four winter tyres or snow chains/socks from 1 November to 31 March across all of Haute-Savoie department, with fines for non-compliance; ATMB also reduces the motorway speed limit to 110 km/h from 1 November to 31 March. ✓ checked · alps2alps.com
